The subdivision of land is a complex process. We use the following 8-phase process:
- Phase 1 – Research and Budget
- Phase 2 – Initial “Go” “No-Go” Decision
- Phase 3 – Tentative Map
- Phase 4 – Tentative Map Approval (Refer to separate flowchart)*
- Phase 5 – Final “Go” “No-Go” Decision
- Phase 6 – Final Map & Site Improvement Plans
- Phase 7 – Final Map Approval
- Phase 8 – Construction Administration
* Take special note of Phase 4. This phase is extremely complicated by itself. We have provided a separate flowchart to illustrate its complexity. |
